Why I started selling comic books?
Why indeed? I started collecting and reading comic books from the age of eight some time back in 1973. I was in hospital, recovering from what was then considered a major operation-appendix. Hospitalized for over two weeks, my parents would come and see me every day. In the 2nd week my dad came in with the usual delivery of magazines and childrens comics, but among that pile was a copy of mighty world of marvel number # 27. I read it over and over about fifteen times, and was instantly hooked. These larger than life amazing Superheroes with The artwork and colour, stood out like nothing i had ever seen before. Life was never the same again. I collected as many books as my pocket money would allow, they became an obsession (and still are). Eventually i realised that motorbikes were more important to me until I reached about 25, when i started collecting again. I then started to sell off my surplus and doubles, until about 18 years ago, when i started to sell comics at comic marts and events. Approx. 6 years ago i found E-bay and started turning my obsession into a part time buisness. Now with the intoduction of this web site, i hope to expand it further. Those who have purchased from me already, know that i will always try my hardest to provide a good honest service, selling comics and high quality comic preservation and storage products at affordable prices.
